Configuration

Selecting the Eiffel3 consists mainly of four basic parts.
  1. Select the board itself
  2. Select your PIC for either Atari or Coldfire operation (or both if you want switchability)
  3. Select a cable, either serial for coldfire, or the internal or the external cable for Atari systems. Note: I've just found out that the RJ11 to RJ11 external cables need to have pin 2 & 3 crossed in the cable due to a design glitch.
  4. Select a shipping charge (UK or Worldwide)

That's pretty much it. There's additional options though.
  1. Joystick Cable. This is a male DB9 shell to the 5+5 header cable on the Eiffel board. Remember there are two joystick ports on the Eiffel3 board, so you need two cables if you want both.
  2. Temperature sensor. This is a thermistor attached to the end of 2 way header cable.
  3. LCD interface. This includes the attachment cable and the logic chip needed to drive the LCD.

NOTE1: For Coldfire systems you may need to provide power on pin 9 of the DB9 port as some Coldfire systems don't by default.

NOTE2: If you are ordering multiple quantities please contact me for a shipping quote.

NOTE3: Please feel free not to order cables if you feel you can get them cheaper or build them cheaper yourselves. The same goes for the PICs, if you have a programmer, then feel free to acquire and program your own devices. Thanks.

Ordering is now open, please allow 3 weeks for delivery.
